MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Kris Wright will make his return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) for a pair of events behind the wheel of the No. 1 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
The 29-year-old will make his debut at Texas Motor Speedway on April 12 for the SpeedyCashy.com 250 before returning three months later for the CRC Brakleen 175 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway on July 12.
Wright’s No. 1 entry will feature sponsorship from F.N.B. Corporation, America’s Auto Auction and Esmark.
The Pittsburgh, Pa., native has a bevy of experience across multiple racing disciplines with starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series as well as starts in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and IMSA Prototype Challenge.
Wright has 45 career Truck Series appearances to his credit, including three previous starts at Texas, with a best finish of 12th last May. He currently competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Venturini Motorsports.
