Ty Majeski Wins Pole For WWT Raceway Truck Race

MADISON, Ill. — For the third time this season and the eighth time in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career, Ty Majeski is on the pole.

Turning a lap of 32.475 seconds (138.568 mph), Majeski beat out points leader Christian Eckes to earn the pole for Saturday’s Toyota 200 at World Wide Technology Raceway. The ThorSport Racing driver will start in front at WWT Raceway for the second time in his career.

Qualifying second, Eckes will start in the top 10 for the 10th time in 12 races this season. Nick Sanchez, last week’s winner, qualified third while Dean Thompson and Tanner Gray round out the top five. Stewart Friesen, Taylor Gray, Ben Rhodes, Corey Heim and Grant Enfinger complete the top 10.

Making his Truck Series debut, Andres Perez de Lara will start 18th.

Just 32 trucks entered the race, meaning none are going home.
