ThorSport Racing’s Ty Majeski turned the fastest lap during NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill., on Friday evening.
The No. 98 Ford driver traveled the 1.25-mile oval in 32.569 seconds (138.168 mph). Teammate Ben Rhodes, who is also last week’s winner, was second with a fast lap of 32.663 seconds (137.771 mph) in his No. 99 Ford.Â
McAnally-Hilgemann Racing’s Christian Eckes was third, while Niece Motorsports’ Carson Hocevar qualified fourth. Halmar Friesen Racing’s Stewart Friesen completed the top five.
Zane Smith, Jake Garcia, Chase Purdy, Nicholas Sanchez and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top 10.
The Truck Series field will take the green for the Toyota 200 at 1:30 p.m. (ET) on Saturday.
