NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoff driver Nick Sanchez will start on pole for Saturday’s Baptist Health Cancer Care 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The Rev Racing driver paced the 34-car field with a fastest speed of 167.084 mph. Sanchez topped outside front row starter Carson Hocevar by 0.239 seconds.
Grant Enfinger wheeled his GMS Racing Chevrolet to a third-place effort, with Ty Majeski and Dean Thompson rounding out the top five.
Tricon Garage’s Tanner Gray slotted in sixth with Zane Smith qualifying seventh.
The final three spots in the top 10 were occupied by Corey Heim (8th), Stewart Friesen (9th) and Christian Eckes (10th).
As far as playoff drivers qualified outside the top 10, Ben Rhodes will start in 21st.
