Rajah Caruth Scores IRP Truck Pole

INDIANAPOLIS — Spire Motorsports’ Rajah Caruth scored the pole for Friday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, notching his second top starting position of the 2024 season. He recorded a lap of 22.863 seconds (108.107 mph) around the 0.686-mile oval.

The last time Caruth was on the pole came at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March when he won his first race.

The 21-year-old bested former GMS Racing teammate Grant Enfinger — now of CR7 Motorsports — for the pole. Tyler Ankrum will start third while last year’s winner Ty Majeski qualified fourth. Matt Crafton, who’s searching for his first win since 2020, rounds out the top five.

Series points leader Christian Eckes will start sixth. Corey Heim, who leads the series with five wins in 2024, will start ninth.

Just 35 trucks entered, meaning none will go home.

The race is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET and will air on FOX Sports 1.Â
