SANDUSKY, Ohio – Ty Majeski will embark upon his first full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season with ThorSport Racing this year.
Majeski will drive the No. 66 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro after making four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts last year for ThorSport Racing while also working as an engineer for the team.
As part of the announcement that Majeski would pilot the No. 66 entry, it was revealed that Cincinnati Inc. will serve as a primary sponsor for Majeski in multiple events. The company will make its debut on the No. 66 at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 18.
“Over the past year, I have built so many great relationships with incredible people at ThorSport Racing. I couldn’t be more honored to chase a championship with them in 2022,” said Majeski. ‘Our Cincinnati Inc. No. 66 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro looks great, and I can’t wait to give it a good run at Daytona. My team and I are ready to make the most of this opportunity.”’
Majeski, a five-time ARCA Midwest Tour champion and winner of the 2020 Snowball Derby, has made starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. His best Truck Series finish came last year at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he finished seventh. He also has three ARCA Menards Series victories to his credit.
“We are excited to expand our NASCAR sponsorships to the Truck Series. Like CI, ThorSport is an Ohio-based company with a long history of success and innovation. The ThorSport teams will now have access to a state-of-the-art CI laser system and press brake which will help their teams enhance the performance of their trucks,” said Tim Warning, CEO & President, Cincinnati Inc.
