Corey Heim scored his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pole on Friday at World Wide Technology Raceway.
The Kyle Busch Motorsports driver crossed the start/finish line with a quick time of 32.554 en route to pole position.
“Qualifying’s half the battle at these aero-dependent race tracks, and being up front, I’m not complaining one bit,” Heim said.
Front Row Motorsports’ Zane Smith, who will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut on Sunday in place of Chris Buescher, will start on the outside pole.
Stewart Friesen, Chandler Smith and Christian Eckes rounded out the top-five on the grid.
