MOORESVILLE, N.C. – G2G Racing, a new NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team launched by Tim Viens and Bill Shea, will debut at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 18.
The team will field a pair of Chevrolet Silverados in the opening round of the season for Matt Jaskol and 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter. Jaskol is set to contest the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season for the team while Sauter is slated to compete in 13 Truck Series events.
Jaskol will pilot the No. 46 while Sauter will drive the No. 47. Jaskol will have sponsorship support from Auto Parts 4 Less and Lift Kits 4 Less.
“I can’t fully express how grateful I am to have this opportunity with G2G Racing and have the continued support from AutoParts4less.com and LiftsKits4Less.com,” Jaskol stated. “All I’ve wanted is a chance to work with a team for a full season, and it looks like I’m finally going to get to do just that.”
Sauter joins G2G Racing after spending the last three years with ThorSport Racing. He has 24 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victories in 311 series starts. Sauter will also have sponsorship from Auto Parts 4 Less and Lift Kits 4 Less at Daytona International Speedway.
“I couldn’t be more excited to go after a fourth win at Daytona,” said Sauter. “I want to thank Tim Viens and G2G (Racing) for this amazing opportunity.”
In addition to Sauter, the No. 47 entry will be driven by Roger Reuse and team co-owner Viens at points throughout the season. Boat Gadget will sponsor the No. 47 team when Viens pilots the truck.
