DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Scott Graves, crew chief on the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driven by Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Daniel Suarez has been fined $10,000 by NASCAR.

Graves was fined because of one unsecured lug nut discovered by inspectors on the No. 19 following Sunday’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was the fourth $10,000 fine of the season for Graves.

In the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Chris Rice, crew chief for Blake Koch, and Matt Beckman, crew chief for Matt Tifft were each fined $10,000 because their entries were found to be too low during post-race inspection.

Koch drives the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet and Tifft wheels the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. Both teams were also docked 10 owner and driver points.
