Drive Smart Warranty Backing RWR & Yeley

THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Rick Ware Racing has added DriveSmartWarranty.com to its partner lineup, with the company backing the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team for two races starting at Daytona Int’l Speedway in July.

Veteran driver J.J. Yeley will drive the team’s No. 52 DriveSmartWarranty.com Ford Mustang at the World Center of Racing. The New York-based company will return to the organization for the Cup Series Playoff race at Dover (Del.) Int’l Speedway on Oct. 6.

“We here at DriveSmartWarranty.com are excited to be a multi race primary partner for the No. 52 Cup car with Rick Ware Racing,” said CEO Daniel Rodd. “In my opinion, NASCAR fans are the most passionate and loyal across all major US sports.

“It’s a unique opportunity to help contribute to the overall race day experience for the team and fans alike. At the same time, this partnership gives us the ability to grow our brand and engage with our customers and NASCAR fans through the most powerful racing platform on earth.”

Rick Ware Racing team principal Rick Ware said his organization is proud to welcome another new partner to the top level of NASCAR with an experienced superspeedway driver such as Yeley.

“We are thrilled to make the announcement that DriveSmart is going to be the primary partner on our No. 52 Ford for the upcoming race at Daytona,” said Ware. “Everyone we have talked with at DriveSmart have been so excited and energetic about seeing their car on the track in one of the most anticipated races of the year.

“This year we have had some very impressive paint schemes that have received a lot of national exposure, we feel this car and scheme will also get a lot of attention too. Daytona is a very special place and our company has had some great finishes there in the past, Ware continued. “We are hoping that J.J. (Yeley) can rise up to the occasion and give DriveSmart a great race on what we expect will be a great weekend of racing with our friends and guests.”

Yeley, a native of Phoenix, Ariz., is poised to make his 15th career Cup start at the 2.5-mile superspeedway. In his previous 14 outings, he has a career-best 10th place finish after starting 41st in 2013.

“I’m excited to have DriveSmart on our Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang starting at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 in July,” said Yeley. “DriveSmart offers protection plans on all types of vehicles and is the perfect fit to be a part of our NASCAR industry.

“Daytona in July is always an exciting race and to showcase a new sponsor likeDriveSmartWarranty.com to our wonderful NASCAR fans will make it even more exciting.”
