KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Atlas Copco USA announced a continuation of its longstanding partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing for the upcoming racing season.

Atlas Copco has been involved with Stewart-Haas Racing since its inception and serves as a technical partner to the team.

“We’re excited about having Atlas Copco as a continued partner and sponsor for our 2018 racing season,” said Greg Zipadelli, vice president of competition at SHR. “Their products are crucial in providing the quality compressed air our teams need to get the job done quickly, efficiently and reliably.”

Established by three-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart and Haas Automation founder Gene Haas, Stewart-Haas Racing fields entries for four drivers Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola, Clint Bowyer and Kurt Busch in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Based in Kannapolis, N.C., Stewart-Haas Racing operates out of a 200,000-square-foot facility with nearly 370 employees.

“Atlas Copco and Stewart-Haas Racing have shared a successful relationship since 2009,” said Erik Arfalk, vice president of communications and branding at Atlas Copco. “We’re thrilled about extending our partnership and working together again in this upcoming season.”

Atlas Copco provides all of Stewart-Haas Racing’s compressed air equipment, which utilizes the SMARTLINK monitoring technology inside Stewart-Haas Racing’s race shop.

“There’s very little downtime in racing, so it’s our job to keep the crews supplied with the best possible compressed air that’s guaranteed to perform whenever it’s needed,” said Arfalk. “We can’t wait for the start of the season and our ongoing work with Stewart-Haas Racing.”
