DOVER, Del. — Lucas Oil will serve as title sponsor of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events at Dover Int’l Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn., this season.
“The Dover Monster Mile is an iconic facility in the racing world. It has a certain mystique about it that draws you in, much like Nashville Superspeedway, near Music City, U.S.A. They are great venues to watch a race and offer fan friendly environments from the moment you enter the facilities,” said Lucas Oil Executive Vice President Bob Patison. “Lucas Oil is delighted to be title sponsor of the Camping World Truck Series events at Dover Int’l Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway this year. We are looking forward to working with the talented staff at Dover Motorsports.”
The Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event will be held May 13 at Dover Int’l Speedway and will serve as the kickoff event of the NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Dover May 13-15.
The Lucas Deep Clean 200 will be held under the lights at Nashville Superspeedway July 22 as part of a NASCAR doubleheader with the NASCAR Nationwide Series July 22-23.
“We’re excited to partner with Lucas Oil and extend the relationship to include both Dover Int’l Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway,” said Denis McGlynn, president & CEO of Dover Motorsports, Inc. “Lucas Oil is a familiar name in the motorsports industry, and with this new agreement they’ll be able to showcase their high performance products through their involvement with two national motorsports events in two important regions we serve.”
