THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Representatives from Hill Motorsports have announced plans to add a second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team next season.
Team owner Timmy Hill believes the timing is right to expand.
“It’s so rewarding to see this program continue to progress each year and I’m excited to have the pieces in place to take the next step for our organization with a second truck,” Hill said.
Hill will pilot the No. 56 entry during the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season after previously splitting seat time in the No. 56 with his younger brother, Tyler Hill, the last three years.Â
“I’m really looking forward to competing full-time next year,” Timmy Hill said. “I certainly think we can surprise some people and hopefully be a regular contender at the front of the field.”
Additionally, Hill Motorsports will switch from Chevrolet to Toyota trucks next year. Sponsors for the No. 56 entry will be announced at a later date, as will details regarding the team’s second entry.
