JOLIET, Ill. — After waiting out the weather for nearly six hours, NASCAR postponed the Geico 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway until Monday.

The opening race in the 10-event Chase to the Sprint Cup is scheduled for noon E.T.

Matt Kenseth is on the pole.
