MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Discount Tire will leave Roush Fenway Racing at the end of the 2009 season to join Penske Racing’s NASCAR Nationwide Series program as a sponsor for Brad Keselowski.

The multi-year agreement pairs Keselowski with primary sponsor Discount Tire for at least 26 races in the No. 22 Penske Racing Dodge. Keselowski plans to compete full time in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010.

“We are looking forward to beginning our relationship with the Penske Racing team,” said Bruce T. Halle, founder and chairman of Discount Tire. “Roger Penske and his team have built a winning tradition. Our goal is to compete for race wins and championships with Penske Racing and we can’t wait to see the first green flag in 2010.”

Discount Tire will also become an associated sponsor on both the No. 12 Penske Dodge driven by Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge driven by Kurt Busch in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series next season. Discount Tire will also be an associate sponsor on Penske Racing’s Indianapolis 500 entries next season.

“Penske Racing welcomes Discount Tire as a key partner in our NASCAR program,” said team owner Roger Penske. “Brad is a proven winner and he will be a serious contender for the Nationwide Series championship next season. Discount Tire is a leader in tire retailing and an experienced NASCAR sponsor, and together we have created a powerful lineup for 2010 and beyond.”

Discount Tire first joined NASCAR as a sponsor of Chip Ganassi Racing’s No. 41 Dodge in the NASCAR Nationwide Series during the 2004 season. The sponsorship moved to David Ragan’s No. 6 Ford at Roush Fenway Racing in 2007.

“I look forward to representing Discount Tire and their over 750 retail locations as they are winners in their industry,” said Keselowski. “Like me, Discount Tire was born in Michigan, and that definitely adds special meaning for this new relationship.”
