KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Stewart-Haas Racing confirmed Tuesday that NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Ty Dillon will drive Tony Stewart’s No. 14 Chevrolet in this weekend’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Stewart, who sustained a back fracture in an all-terrain vehicle accident on Jan. 31 in Arizona, missed Sunday’s Daytona 500. Brian Vickers drove for the three-time Sprint Cup champion on Sunday. He will take over the car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway next week.

Dillon races full-time for Richard Childress Racing in XFINITY, but he and Stewart share Bass Pro Shops as a sponsor, which made the selection easier.

There is no set timetable for Stewart’s return to the track. This season is scheduled to be his last.
