Sheldon Creed will not return to Richard Childress Racing in 2024, the team revealed on social media Wednesday.
RCR released a statement on the news.
“Sheldon Creed will not be returning as driver of the No. 2 Whelen Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024. We will make an announcement regarding the driver of the No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet in the near future.”

Creed, who wheeled the No. 2 Chevrolet the past two seasons in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, has tallied nine top-five finishes and 26 top 10’s during that time span. He has yet to score a victory.
The 26-year-old is in the midst of competing for the Xfinity Series championship, where he sits seventh in points, 12 markers below the cutline as the series enters Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend.
