Chicago Truck Race Pushed To Saturday

JOLIET, Ill. – Mother Nature just wouldn’t cooperate Friday evening at Chicagoland Speedway.

Persistent rain showers Friday evening have forced NASCAR to postpone the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 225. The race will be run Saturday evening at 7 p.m. E.T. following the conclusion of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race earlier in the day.

Qualifying for the race was also rained out, with Johnny Sauter being awarded the pole based on practice speeds. Brennan Newberry will start second. Jeb Burton, Austin Dillon and Ryan Blaney make up the remainder of the top five starting positions.
