LONG POND, Pa. — Joey Coulter became the ninth different driver to win a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race this season when he claimed Sunday’s Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway.

Coulter took the lead from Nelson Piquet Jr. on a late-race restart and paced the final seven laps of the 2.5-mile triangular track to earn his first victory in the series. His pervious best finish was third at Texas Motor Speedway in June. The Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet driver was the fourth first-time winner this season.

James Buescher finished 1.224 seconds behind Coulter for his seventh top-10 finish of the season for Turner Motorsports.

Piquet, who started on the pole in another Turner Chevrolet, finished third.

Matt Crafton was fourth in a ThorSport Toyota with Denny Hamlin fifth in a Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota.

Ty Dillon came home sixth and trimmed Timothy Peters’ point lead to only eight points. Peters finished 22nd.
