Rumble In Fort Wayne Begins Today

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The 24th Rumble in Fort Wayne presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales inside the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum kicked off Thursday night with 87 practice sessions.

Racing begins Friday afternoon and continues through Saturday night.

Heavy hitters Tony Stewart and Russ Gamester were among those getting laps in the midget division on the unique indoor race track.

Other midget entrants include former Rumble feature winners Billy Wease (5), Justin Peck (3), Mike Fedorcak (1) and Nick Hamilton (1).

Also scheduled to participate in the midget class are Mario Clouser, Joey Payne, Joe Ligouri, Must See Racing champion Charlie Schultz, Travis Welpott, Cap Henry and Austin Nemire among others.

Midgets, winged and non-winged 600cc midgets, and go-karts will join the quarter midgets in full racing programs daily.
