Marquez Shines In MotoGP’s San Marino Grand Prix

Marc Marquez surged to the MotoGP win in Sunday’s San Marino Grand Prix.

After a rain shower changed track conditions and forced multiple riders to swap bikes, Marquez out-paced defending champion Francesco Bagnaia by over three seconds at the finish.

While Bagnaia held the lead early, Marquez swiped the lead away in the final stages. Ducati’s Enea Bastianini completed the podium finishers in third.

Championship leader Jorge Martin endured trouble as he was forced to make a bike swap, where he’d finish 15th.

Martin now has seven-point margin over Bagnaia for the title lead.

Trackhouse Racing’s Miguel Oliveira placed 11th while teammate Raul Fernandez finished 18th.
