Marco Bezzecchi romped to a dominating victory in Sunday’s inaugural Indian Grand Prix after starting on the pole.
As Bezzecchi scored his third win of the season, trouble hit championship leader Francesco Bagnaia on lap 13, altering the battle for the title.
While running second, Bagnaia fell off his bike in turn four, forcing him to retire from the event.
Bagnaia’s title rival Jorge Martin capitalized and finished second, with Fabio Quartararo rounding out the podium.
With a stellar result, Martin cut Bagnaia’s points lead to 13 markers.
