AUSTIN, Texas — Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing MotoGP) is now a two-time MotoGP race winner.
Bastianini rode to a commanding victory in the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas at Circuit of The Americas and regained the point lead in the process.
Jack Miller grabbed the holeshot at the start of the race aboard his Ducati and led the majority of the race, but Bastianini made his winning move with five laps remaining and rode on to victory.
Alex Rins finished second for Team Suzuki, with Miller rounding out the podium.
Joan Mir came home fourth on the second Suzuki, while Francesco Bagnaia was fifth for Ducati.
Marc Marquez charged through the field to finish sixth for Repsol Honda.
