DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Randy and Daniel Dye will serve as the Grand Marshals of the Mission Volusia Half-Mile Finale I & II for Progressive American Flat Track at Volusia Speedway Park on Oct. 14-15.
Former race car driver Randy Dye is the owner of Daytona Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM and Maserati Alfa Romeo of Daytona. An active supporter of Progressive AFT, Dye serves on the NASCAR Foundation board of directors, the Daytona State College board of trustees and various other community organizations.
His son, Daniel Dye, is one of auto racing’s brightest young talents.
The teenager recently completed his first full ARCA Menards Series campaign with GMS Racing, finishing as the championship’s runner-up while earning both Rookie of the Year honors and the Bill France 4 Crown title. Dye, who has been racing for most of his young life, previously demonstrated his vast potential in quarter midget competition before transitioning to late model racing with Ben Kennedy Racing.
Together Randy and Daniel are heavily involved with the suicide prevention initiative, “Race to Stop Suicide.”
Randy serves as its chairman while Daniel utilizes his national platform to be an effective spokesperson for the campaign, including prominently featuring its logo on his race cars.
