Malcolm Stewart will remain with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team through the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship season.
The two-year contract extension was announced on Friday morning.
Stewart has been with the team since 2022, when he finished a career-best third in the 450SX Monster Energy AMA Supercross standings. The 30-year-old was on track for another strong season, until he suffered a knee injury in late January and was relegated to the sidelines.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Malcolm sign for two more years,” said team manager Nathan Ramsey. “It was clear to us before Malcolm’s injury that he was ready to win races and compete for the championship in 2023. Malcolm is not only a fan favorite, but also a pleasure to have as a part of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team, and we strongly believe that Malcolm will return to racing and be better than ever.”
Stewart has yet to confirm a return date to racing, and instead, has been focused on making a full recovery following knee surgery.
