Sexton Soars To Fast Qualifier At Seattle Supercross

In the second Monster Energy AMA Supercross qualifying session at Lumen Field in Seattle, Wash., on Friday, Chase Sexton soared to the top of the timesheets and earned the fast qualifier award for the fourth consecutive week.

The Honda HRC rider turned a fast lap of 50.704 seconds, becoming the first rider to break into the 50-second range. Monster Energy Kawasaki teammates Adam Cianciarulo and Jason Anderson completed the top three. Red Bull/TLD/GAS GAS rider Justin Barcia qualified fourth.

After topping the first qualifying session of the day, Star Racing Yamaha’s Eli Tomac finished fifth overall with a 51.933-second lap time.

Points leader and Red Bull KTM rider Cooper Webb qualified ninth.

250SX Overall Qualifying Results

With the 250SX West Championship riders back on track in Seattle, it was the younger Lawrence brother who led the field during qualifying.

Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence ran a fast lap of 51.027 seconds, earning the fast qualifier award.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s R.J. Hampshire qualified second, while Star Racing Yamaha’s Levi Kitchen came in third. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammates Carson Mumford and Cameron McAdoo completed the top five.
