Aaron Plessinger will remain on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing roster through the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship season.
It will be Plessinger’s third year competing on the No. 7 KTM machine in the premier 450cc class.
“I just want to give a shoutout to all the fans who have supported me throughout the year and an even bigger shoutout to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing for believing in me and we’re onto another year,” Plessinger said.
The 27-year-old came close to winning his first AMA Supercross race earlier this year, but instead settled for five top-five finishes and 13 total top-10s over the course of the season. In the opening eight races of the AMA Pro Motocross summer tour, Plessinger has tallied seven top-five efforts.
“We’re happy to say that Aaron (Plessinger) has extended his contract with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, so we’ve got the cowboy for another year and we’re looking forward to the next season together,” commented team manager Ian Harrison.
Plessinger finished seventh in the Supercross standings this year after he missed several rounds due to injury. He currently sits third in the Pro Motocross championship and second overall in the SuperMotocross standings.
