Adam Cianciarulo will not compete at round four of Monster Energy AMA Supercross on Jan. 27 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., due to injury.
Early Saturday evening, Monster Energy Kawasaki released a statement via Instagram, writing that Cianciarulo will “sit out tonight’s race due to a hand injury sustained at A1. More information will be provided as it comes.”Â
The No. 9 rider attempted to qualify for the Anaheim Triple Crown event during the first round of qualifying on Saturday afternoon, but struggled and finished 20th. He did not participate in the second qualifying session.
