CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — Some of the world’s greatest Speedway competitors are set to descend on Industry Racing for the second annual Monster Energy World Speedway Invitational.
The race will be held at The Grand Arena in the City of Industry, Calif., at 7 p.m. on Dec. 28 and will feature 16 riders from across the globe.“
“Last year’s Monster Energy World Speedway Invitational was a landmark event for Speedway racing in America,” said Kelly Inman, Industry racing director. “We hosted a sold out event that showcased the worlds best talent in competitive races throughout the night. This year we know the event is going to be bigger and better so we are adding more seating along with increasing the in-show entertainment with our partner, Monster Energy.”
Seven-time U.S. National champion Mike Bast will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal. Bast will commemorate an event that features five former Speedway World Champions including top American riders Greg Hancock and Billy Hamill. Australia’s Darcy Ward along with Poland’s Maciej Janowski and Patryk Dudek headline the international riders traveling to compete.
