Legendary motorcycle designer Massimo Tamburini has died.
Tamburini, the man behind the Ducati 916 Superbike and the MV Agusta F4 and other popular bikes, succumbed to cancer over the weekend. He was 70 years old.
Tamburini founded Cagiva Research Center and his contributions to the motorcycle world include bikes for Cagiva, Ducati, MV Agusta and Bimota.
Tamburini’s bikes were once featured in an exhibit at the famed The Guggenheim Meuseum in New York City.
