CHULA VISTA, Calif. — FreestyleMX.com, Inc. — the largest organizer and promoter of international freestyle motocross events — announced a new sponsorship agreement with BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products Inc.) making Can-Am the official UTV sponsor of the Monster Energy FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by General Tires, for the 2013 season.
“We are proud to be supported by Can-Am,” states 2013 Monster Energy FreestyleMx.com tour organizer, racer and seasoned promoter, Marc Burnett. “Having Can-Am as a new official UTV sponsor is an awesome endorsement… and we look forward to having them with us on our upcoming worldwide tours and performing at special Can-Am-sponsored events. We’re pumped.”
The ambitious 75-stop 2013 international tour kicks off in March in San Felipe, Mexico and visits every corner of the United States — with venues from California to Maine — showcasing some of the world’s best FMX athletes performing incredible jumps and gravity-defying airborne stunts.
Along with the high-flying dirt bikes, the 2013 FreestyleMX.com tour will now also include champion race driver, Marc Burnett, doing aerial backflips in the all-new high-performance Can-Am Maverick(TM) 1000 UTV.
Appearing as a stand alone event in select cities, as well as an enhancement to numerous NASCAR and IRL events, the Monster Energy FreestyleMX.com Tour presented by General Tires, will headline state fairs, car shows, motorcycle rallies, concerts, rural raceways, casinos, rodeos, hotel and resort events – even the upcoming 2013 Fiesta Bowl Block Party on New Year’s Eve!
In addition to the Monster Energy-backed athletes appearing at select tour stops, other athletes committed to the 2013 tour include: Beau Bamburg, Matt Buyten, James Carter, Bryce Hudson, Kenny Bell, Rich Kearns, Myles Richmond, Derek Garland, John Distler, Todd Potter, Mike Mason, Dustin Miller and Lance Coury. At all stops there will be free video game playing stations, Monster Energy gear and autograph sessions with top tour athletes and favorite riders like Nate Adams and Kyle Loza.
