ISLE OF MAN –, the dedicated online home for Britain’s biking community, has today announced a landmark sponsorship agreement with the Isle of Man TT fueled by Monster Energy.

The partnership will see this year’s Lightweight TT Race renamed the Lightweight TT, which will take place on June 7 over three laps of the famous 37-mile plus Road Course.

World adventurer, TV star and Bennetts ambassador, Charley Boorman, will be on hand to start the race at 10:15 a.m. from the famous Glencrutchery Road start line.

The Lightweight TT Race is one of the iconic Isle of Man TT Races and was introduced in 2012 for 650cc twin cylinder machines with Northern ireland’s Ryan Farquhar beating James Hillier and Michael Rutter to the top of the podium.

A number of the leading TT racers have confirmed entries for the 2013 race including lap record holder Michael Rutter, last year’s runner-up James Hillier, three time TT race winner Michael Dunlop and Conor Cummins, who has the fastest standing start lap of the TT Mountain Course. Much interest also surrounds the debut of a Chinese-made 650-twin ridden by Australian David Johnson.
