Nakagami Leads Aragon MotoGP Drills

ALCANIZ, Spain — Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami was the class of the field during practice Friday for MotoGP’s Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel at MotorLand Aragon.

The LCR Honda Idemitsu rider outlasted Yamaha veteran Maverick Vinales to claim the top spot by .175 seconds during the closing afternoon session.

LCR Honda Castrol pilot Cal Crutchlow rounded out the top three, giving Honda two bikes in the top five.

Fabio Quartararo was fourth for Petronas Yamaha, while Joan Mir claimed fifth aboard his Team Suzuki Ecstar ride.

Alex Marquez was sixth for Repsol Honda.
