Kawasaki Lines Up ’16 Contingencies

IRVINE, Calif. – The 2015 racing season was a landmark for the Kawasaki Racing Team and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R sportbike, as the iconic brand clinched the World Superbike and World Supersport championships and the Manufacturer Championship in both classes, a first in World Superbike history.

The achievement caps off one of the most dominant road racing seasons in history for Kawasaki and after an incredibly successful racing year, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. has developed an industry leading U.S. road racing contingency program for 2016.

The 2016 Kawasaki road racing contingency program will support 14 racing associations across America, covering 177 events including 48 WERA races and all 41 races in the Championship Cup Series. Kawasaki will be leading the industry with a total of $2 million posted in contingency rewards, including more than $1.1 million posted in the AMA MotoAmerica series.
