DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – American Flat Track officials announce the renewal of its partnership with Thom Duma Fine Jewelers as the series’ Official Jeweler this season.
The champions of the AFT Twins and AFT Singles categories will each be presented with a custom, one-of-a-kind diamond ring at the year-end banquet in recognition of their respective accomplishments.
Once again, the rings will be designed by Tom Duma and handcrafted by his team of world-class jewelers at Thom Duma Fine Jewelers, an establishment that boasts a history that extends back well over a century.
“Tommy Duma is a great supporter of American Flat Track and the pro flat track community,” said Michael Lock, CEO of AFT. “From the beautiful championship rings he crafts for our champions to the unflagging enthusiasm he has for our sport, he is a real asset and we are glad to have him as a partner.”
Tom Duma’s own racing history laid the groundwork for this unique partnership that unites motorsport series and jewelry.
Prior to ascending to his current place in his chosen profession, Duma first pursued a career as a professional racer, contesting the Grand National Championship from 1976-1981.
“I’m excited to continue my involvement with American Flat Track for a fifth season,” said Duma. “This year’s AFT Twins and AFT Singles championship rings are certain to be cherished for a lifetime by the deserving champions who receive them at the end of the year. I’d also like to encourage racing fans to check out TDFJ; it’s a full service jewelry store with all the top brands in engagement and wedding rings, watches, and fashion jewelry. And if you are looking for a racing-inspired piece of jewelry, TDFJ is here to help you show the world that you or that special someone in your life is involved in the greatest sport on the planet. Let the race to the rings begin.”
American Flat Track will kick off its season inside the fabled trioval at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, March 15.
