DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — All 18 races on the American Flat Track schedule will be televised on NBCSN in a series of weekly prime-time telecasts throughout the summer and fall.
The network announced the air dates for the 18 one-hour shows, beginning with coverage of the Harley-Davidson DAYTONA TT presented by Politis and Matovina at Daytona Int’l Speedway on July 3.
“Pro flat track is one of the world’s most intense forms of motorcycle racing, but the incredible racing is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “The story of American Flat Track is rich with history and the sport has personalities that are true American heroes. Over the coming weeks, we look forward to introducing a new generation of fans to America’s original extreme sport.”
Play-by-play announcer Jason Weigandt is the resident expert for motorcycle racing at NBC Sports and brings a depth of knowledge to these shows. Joining Weigandt in the booth is veteran racer and multi-time American Flat Track race winner Larry Pegram. Rounding out the team is Heather DeBeaux, who enters her second season as a pit reporter for American Flat Track.
FansChoice.tv will continue to provide live streaming coverage for every remaining round of this season.
