ST. LOUIS — GEICO Honda rider Wil Hahn will miss several weeks of action after crashing hard during the first Monster Energy AMA Supercross heat Saturday night at the Edward Jones Dome.
Hahn was running third in the first heat race of 450 action when he was bucked off his GEICO Honda as he navigated some jumps.
He flew through the air and landed hard, knocking himself unconscious for about a minute. He eventually was removed from the track with the help of Asterisk Medical Team and immediately was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital.
He was diagnosed with a broken right humerus as well as neck and shoulder contusions and is expected to miss several weeks of action. He is currently ninth int he Monster Energy AMA Supercross standings.
