Chad Reed, winner of two of the first six rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross season, was injured in a wild crash during Saturday night’s race at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

Still, Reed vows to be in the lineup when the series resumes Saturday night in Dallas.

Reed reported on Twitter and his Facebook page Sunday that he had a broken scapula, collarbone and T1 vertebrae.

“Sometimes things don’t make sense it’s that love hate relationship you have with racing,” Reed said on his Facebook page. “Every Saturday night they drop the gate and in six days time I plan to be there. Thanks for all the prayers hope to make you all proud supporters.”
