MERRILL, Wis. — When the 39th annual RPM Promoters Workshops convene in Reno Nevada in early December, they will be underwritten by record sponsor support.
K&K Insurance Group, the original insurer of motorsports, and primary sponsor of the events and the promoters’ newsletter Racing Promotion Monthly since 1991, announced recently it will continue its support for three more years alongside Hoosier Racing Tire, the world’s largest manufacturer of racing tires, all made in the USA, RPM’s second primary sponsor.
Eleven supporting sponsors, tying a record set in 2008, will back the upcoming Workshops Series; a testament to the companies’ loyalty to short tracks despite a tough economy.
“The commitment demonstrated by the organizations underwriting our services to promoters is remarkable considering the difficult business climate,” said Stewart Doty, Chairman of the events. “These commitments underline the dedication these organizations have to short track promoters and to short track racing.”
Joining firms supporting the Workshops since 2004, is Firethorn Marketing, an Indiana-based web development firm specializing in the racing industry. Firethorn joins the Eldorado Hotel Casino Reno, host hotel of the Western Workshop; INEX, the international sanctioning group for Legends, Bandolero, Thunder Roadster, and the new U.S. Legends Modified cars; Chevrolet Performance Parts, the leading source of crate engines for oval racing; Moffett Productions, a producer of TV and radio advertising for race tracks; Simes Graphic Designs, a designer of advertising for tracks, series, and sanctioning groups; AMI Graphics, a leading New Hampshire-based factory direct sport signage supplier; Raceceiver racing communications and management software; Lucas Oil Products, operator of two short tracks and organizer or sponsor of multiple racing series; Sunoco Race Fuels, the manufacturer and marketer of Sunoco, Trick, and Turbo Blue race fuels; and Advertising Edge, the California-based factory direct imprinted apparel suppler. We appreciate the support of these companies and will welcome them at Reno and Speedweek.
The thirty-ninth annual RPM Promoters Workshops Series, where promoters meet, network, and share ideas they can use, begins Dec. 5 in Reno, Nev., and concludes during Speedweek, Feb. 20-22, 2012, in Daytona Beach, Fla.
