MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Memorial Day weekend is always one of the busiest racing weekends of the year.
While SPEEDSPORT.com will be covering the racing action, including the Indianapolis 500, Coca-Cola 600, Monaco Grand Prix, Patriot Nationals, Hoosier Hundred and short-track racing from coast to coast, SPEED SPORT Productions will have a full slate of projects this week as well.
This Thursday night (May 23) on MAVTV, SPEED SPORT will debut the 15th West Coast Nationals presented by Briggs and Stratton as the Red Bluff Outlaws in Northern California conclude their winter season. The one-hour SPEED SPORT program will air at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
On Saturday (May 25), SPEED SPORT will be on site at Must See Racing’s 71st Pay Less Little 500 at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway and the second annual Performance Electronics Non-Wing World Championship at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Ind.
The 71st Pay Less little 500 will feature non-winged sprint cars on the quarter-mile, high-banked paved oval. SPEED SPORT will produce a two-hour television special for MAVTV set to air Thursday, July 11. Live streaming video can be viewed at SpeedShiftTV.com.
The eighth-mile Circle City Speedway hosts the second Performance Electronics Non-Wing World Championship for 600cc dirt micro sprints. SPEED SPORT will produce a one-hour television program for the event that pays $10,000 to win and is set to air on MAVTV on Thursday, Aug. 1. FastFourMedia.com is providing live streaming video.
Concluding the holiday weekend on Monday (May 27), SPEED SPORT will produce a one-hour television show from New York’s Weedsport Speedway, showcasing the Super DIRTcar Series big-block modifieds in the Hereos Remembered 100. MAVTV will air the episode on Thursday, June 27. Live streaming will be available from DirtVision.com.
