MOORESVILLE, N.C. – National Speed Sport News, America’s trusted motorsports authority since 1934, has partnered with Loudpedal Productions founders Mike and Tim Truex to form Loudpedal Productions, LLC. The new venture will be a subsidiary of National Speed Sport News, adding to its fast-growing roster of media companies.
For its part, National Speed Sport News will contribute business support, capital and multi-platform reach, enabling the father-and-son duo to expand their production of fast-paced, cutting-edge dirt track videos. Loudpedal Productions will collaborate with National Speed Sport News’ broadcast production subsidiary, SPEED SPORT Productions to share knowledge, increase capabilities and expand reach.
“To say we’re excited doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel about this new partnership. SPEED SPORT has a stellar history of providing trusted motorsports news for the past 80 years and we look forward to growing with them as we move into a new era for Loudpedal,” said Mike Truex.
“We already have some huge things planned moving forward,” added Tim Truex. “We can’t think of a better opportunity to expand the Loudpedal brand than to partner with SPEED SPORT; the possibilities are endless.”
“The Loudpedal brand is already a household name among hard-core open-wheel dirt track fans and their cutting-edge short videos coupled with exciting music are to today’s young racers what MTV was to rock music fans in the early ’80s.” said SPEED SPORT President Ralph Sheheen. “Loudpedal is making rock stars out of open-wheel drivers and we’re excited to help take the brand to even more heights and expand into other forms of racing.”
