New Sprint Car & Midget Website Launched

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Turn 3 Media, LLC has announced the launch of the all new SprintCarandMidget.com website.

The new digital platform creates a stand-alone destination for racers and serious fans from the world’s leading short track, open-wheel racing publication, as well as an added value for the large base of current subscribers of the print magazine.  The new site is optimized for viewing on desktop or mobile devices — so readers can access Sprint Car & Midget content wherever they go.

“This is an exciting addition to what we’ve been doing in print for more than 17 years,” stated Sprint Car & Midget magazine Editor Doug Auld. “We’ll, of course, continue to publish the print magazine every month, but now Turn 3 has brought Sprint Car & Midget to the online community. Both the website and the print edition will feature our usual cast of award-winning and Hall of Fame contributors.”

Auld launched Sprint Car & Midget with the March 2002 cover issue and the monthly publication has showcased the open-wheel racing industry’s most trusted and talented writers and photographers ever since. In addition to Auld, columns from fellow notables Dave Argabright, Brady Bacon, Brad Doty, Bruce Ellis, Allan Holland, Kevin Olson and Patrick Sullivan and lengthy, in-depth features and interviews transport readers into the pits and shops of the sprint car, midget and Silver Crown movers and shakers. It’s all highlighted by outstanding, hair-raising imagery from the sport’s most fearless photographers.

Like its sister site, SPEEDSPORT.com, SprintCarandMidget.com provides free access to race results, news and more — updated 24-7.  Subscribers will also have access to premium content, including unique web-only features, columns and video plus all of the award-winning features and columns fresh from the pages of Sprint Car & Midget magazine. Print subscribers also receive unlimited access to the website, and an online-only subscription is available as well.  Subscriptions start at just $19.95/year, (which amounts to less than $2/month), and are available by visiting SprintCarandMidget.com and clicking on “Subscribe” at the top of the site, or by calling (704) 790-0136.

Sprint Car & Midget is extremely popular and growing quickly on social media as well. Fans can follow on Facebook at facebook.com/sprintcarandmidget and on Twitter at @sprintcarmagz. “Hot Laps,” a free semi-weekly newsletter, is also available and provides a dose of the important open-wheel headlines directly to your inbox. Subscribe by visiting SprintCarandMidget.com and clicking on the “Free Newsletter” link.

“The addition of SprintCarandMidget.com reflects our commitment to the Sprint Car & Midget brand and its passionate fan base.  It’s been a long time coming but we wanted to get it right,” said Turn 3 Media CEO Joe Tripp. “The new site strikes a great balance between timely news and results, and the type of insightful, in-depth features and editorial that SCM readers have come to love.”
