WEST SUSSEX, England – There will be no Goodwood Festival of Speed or Revival this year as event officials have canceled both events due to COVID-19.
The Festival of Speed was originally scheduled for July 9-12, but was postponed in March until later this year. Now the event won’t happen again until 2021.
In a statement, Goodwood officials said there was no other choice than to cancel the event for this year.
“Summer is normally an exciting time at Goodwood, as we welcome hundreds of thousands of guests to our headline events,” the statement read. “Sadly, that’s not to be this year, as we have had to take the decision not to hold the Festival of Speed and Revival in 2020.”
Ticketholders for both events will be able to roll their tickets over to the 2021 dates if they are able to, with General Admission, Grandstand and Hospitality tickets all valid and with no risk of price rises.
