INSIDER: Sheheen — Larson Set For Another ‘Double’ Attempt

CONCORD, N.C. — Kyle Larson, Hendrick Motorsports, Arrow McLaren and Chevrolet made it official that the group will come together again for a second attempt at completing the “Double” on Memorial Day weekend.

The press conference announcing their plans took place in the media center at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It attracted a large media turnout and an impressive gathering of industry power players.

Larson, Rick Hendrick, Zak Brown, Jeff Gordon and Tony Kanaan were on the stage as program participants, while the audience included Steve Phelps, president of NASCAR; Marcus Smith, president and CEO of Speedway Motorsports; Doug Boles, president of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Greg Walter, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway; Eric Warren, executive director GM Motorsports; Dale Ledbetter, general manager of Hendrick Performance; Brian Johnson, vice president of marketing of Hendrick Automotive Group; and Pam Miller, producer IndyCar on FOX.

Also in attendance were executives from Hendrick Motorsports, Hendrick Automotive Group and Arrow McLaren.
