Glory Days: Schrader Tames Eldora

Reigning USAC Silver Crown Series champion Ken Schrader won the class’ 50-lap feature during the third running of the 4-Crown Nationals at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway.

Fast-qualifier Jack Hewitt grabbed the early lead on the half-mile track with Schrader following closely behind. Schrader gained the lead on lap 10 and despite several yellow flags, controlled the remainder of the distance.
