BROWNSBURG, Ind. — Exclusive Autosport has brought on their first Indy Pro 2000 Championship driver for the 2023 season: Yuven Sundaramoorthy.
The team will welcome the 19-year-old Wisconsin native and Road to Indy veteran to the squad for the upcoming year.
Sundaramoorthy is no stranger to the team, having got his start in the Road to Indy with EA back in 2018, running a lone Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course where he scored a pair of top-10 finishes. Over the past three years, Yuven has worked his way up the ladder, placing third in the 2021 USF2000 standings before taking on Indy Pro 2000 this year.
This past year, he scored three podium results and 10 top-10s, finishing 10th in the championship standings. Sundaramoorthy will now work with EA’s elite engineering staff to fight for wins and the 2023 championship title.
“I’m really excited to start a new chapter in my career,” Sundaramoorthy said. “Exclusive Autosport has a great car and great people. So, if I put in the work, I know we’ll have a championship-winning year.”
“I am thrilled to officially welcome Yuven to the Exclusive Autosport team,” said Michael Duncalfe, team principal. “Yuven is a staple in the Road to Indy and has had solid results over the past few years. I am looking forward to seeing him in our championship-winning package and am looking forward to getting the 2023 season underway.”
EA’s extensive off-season testing program for F1600, USF Juniors, USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 leading into the 2023 Road to Indy season is already underway, with dates scheduled over the final months of the calendar year.
This includes the RTI Fall Combine on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on the October 22-23 weekend.
