Dyszelski To Wheel Turn 3 Motorsports Machine In USF Pro 2000

MUNDELEIN, Ill. — Danny Dyszelski has signed with Turn 3 Motorsport for the upcoming USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire.

The 15-year-old competed in both the USF2000 Championship and the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America Pro 1500 Championship this past year before joining Turn 3 for his USF Pro 2000 debut at the Portland (Ore.) Int’l Raceway season finale where he qualified seventh and had a best result of ninth in the third race.

The North Carolina native continued to build momentum in the USF Pro 2000 car post-season by testing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America in Wisconsin and the official fall combine series test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in October where he ended the final session of the two-day test third quickest and less than 0.3 seconds off of the fastest time.

“I finished the 2023 USF Pro 2000 season with Turn 3 Motorsport and felt right at home within their program,” said Dyszelski. “With a commitment to join them in 2024 and five long months until the official race season begins, I know we will be working hard and that we can achieve great things together. I am up for the challenge.

“Thank you to Peter, Mandy, and the entire Turn 3 Motorsport operation for welcoming me with open arms, and I can’t wait to get started.”

After a standout season that earned him multiple race wins, pole positions, podium results and fast lap honor, Dyszelski earned the title of Radical Cup North America Vice Champion in both the 1500 class and outright championship. He also finished in the top 10 in eight of the 13 USF2000 races he competed in with a best finish of fourth at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May.

“It’s great to have Danny join our team for the 2024 season,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “He has been a pleasure to have since joining us at Portland. All of the off season testing we’ve been doing has gone very well so far, and he has really adapted to the USF Pro 2000 car. I’m sure with more off season development, he will be a strong contender in his first full season at this level. I know he has been working hard on his fitness in preparation for next year which shows how committed he is to having a successful season.

“We are looking forward to working hard to achieve the best results possible for the team and Danny. Our next test will be our first test with the new Continental tires, and I know we are all excited for this new challenge.”
