Season In Review: Santino Ferrucci

Perhaps the surprise of the NTT IndyCar Series season was Santino Ferrucci and A.J. Foyt Racing.

Tallying 11 top-10 finishes and his first career pole position at Portland (Ore.) Int’l Raceway, Ferrucci finished a stellar ninth in the standings, the highest points finish for the Connecticut native in his career.

With constant daring passes on oval events where he scored five top 10s in seven races, Ferrucci thrilled aboard the famed No. 14 Chevrolet.

After finishing third at the Indianapolis 500 last season, Ferrucci endured another strong month of May at the 2.5-mile oval with an eighth-place finish.

To cap off the season, Ferrucci tallied four top-eight finishes in the final four races, which included two fourths during the Milwaukee Mile doubleheader in Wisconsin.

2025 will be the 26-year-old’s fourth full-time season and third with A.J. Foyt Racing where he’ll be paired with David Malukas.Â
