LONG BEACH, Calif. — After an impressive IndyCar debut in Sunday’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Théo Pourchaire will race the No. 6 NTT Data Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at Barber Motorsports Park (Ala.) this weekend.
Arrow McLaren made the announcement on Tuesday morning. Pourchaire, the reigining Formula 2 champion, will compete alongside full-time drivers Alexander Rossi and Pato O’Ward.
David Malukas continues to recover from a left wrist injury and surgery. According to a team press release, Arrow McLaren will maintain their evaluation of Malukas’ health at a later time.
Pourchaire was the biggest mover at Long Beach, vaulting from 22nd to 11th by race’s end.
