PLAINFIELD, Ill. — Katherine Legge will be back behind the wheel of the No. 51 e.l.f. Cosmetics Honda-powered entry for Dale Coyne Racing during the NTT IndyCar Series’ return to the Milwaukee Mile this weekend in Wisconsin.
Legge, the only female driver in the series, will add two more rounds to her oval schedule with the team competing in this weekend’s two Hy-vee Milwaukee 250 races. Legge has done all the oval events so far this year in the team’s No. 51 e.l.f. Cosmetics Honda, picking up a best finish of 17th in Iowa.
Legge is only one of six drivers currently in the series to have previously raced at the Milwaukee Mile. She has a best finish of sixth scored in her first appearance at the track back during her time in the Champ Car World Series.
“I can’t wait to be back in the car this weekend with two opportunities to give the team some good results,” expressed Legge. “Our No. 51 e.l.f. Cosmetics Honda was good at World Wide Technology Raceway, it’s a shame I wasn’t able to take full advantage of that event. Hopefully our cars will be as good, and we can have a strong weekend in Milwaukee.”
